About Rebloom
Rebloom is a new 501(c)(3) charity in Arizona founded by Lily Sandblom and Catherine Ingbar, medical students at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix. Our organization partners with local florists, collects floral arrangements leftover from weddings and other large-scale events, rearranges florals into individual bouquets, and delivers these arrangements to our community partners, including hospitals, hospice care, and shelters.
Currently, our donations go to UMOM New Day Center, Ryan House, Hospice of the Valley Dementia Care and Education Campus. Our mission is to bring joy to those who need it most in a sustainable way.
Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Rebloom emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.

Cofounder
Hello! I’m Catherine Ingbar, a mechanical engineer-turned-medical student at the University of Arizona College of Medicine–Phoenix. I’m from a small town in Nevada with some incredible nonprofit organizations and I have always felt so grateful for the sense of community that volunteering creates. Rebloom has connected me to so many wonderful people and places in the Phoenix community. I love that we help solve the problem of floral waste (engineers love solving problems!) and I especially love that these repurposed bouquets can make people feel seen, loved, and meaningful. When I’m not studying to become an OBGYN or thinking about Rebloom, I enjoy hiking with my dog, cooking new recipes, and exploring the sights of Arizona through my newest hobby, mountain biking!

Cofounder
My name is Lily Sandblom, and I am a medical student at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix. I am a native of Scottsdale, AZ, and lived here until I went to Baylor University in Waco, TX for college, where I majored in Biology and Spanish. I returned to the desert for medical school and am excited about my future career as a pediatric oncologist (helping children with cancer). I have always been described as an optimist, and I always try to find the small joys in life! Flower arranging and running Rebloom have been great ways to spend time outside of medicine, and it warms my heart knowing that we are bringing smiles to people's faces! Outside of Rebloom, my other hobbies include running (I am training for a half marathon!), traveling, trying new plant-based meals, and playing with my puppy!
